Just when I thought today was just the shittiest of all days, I was pleasantly surprised with a letter from my amazing kindergarten teacher!

"Dear Jessica,
Seeing and hearing you today were the greatest gifts ever!! Being able to hug you again and finding out that you not only survived, but flourished, have been the answers to years worth of prayers. I love your CD!! I cried when I heard "Who I am Today," not out of sadness, but relief and admiration. You used your gift to take one of the most painful situations and turn it into something unbelievably beautiful and priceless, like when an oyster makes a perfect pearl out of a grain of sand."

That wonderful lady taught me how to read. It's unbelievable. She gave me one of the greatest and most useful gifts in the world and continues to shower me with the priceless gifts of love and encouragement. Reading what she had to say makes me want to forget about all of my petty highschool problems because in hindsight they'll just become the most insignificant of things. She really has made me realize that I did come a long way, that I really am a strong individual and I love her to death for it.

I'm really starting to love livejournal. I like that no one reads it and I can just be myself and talk about whatever I please without having to censor my thoughts to avoid hurt feelings.

But anyway...

I absolutely hate being in a play. I hate practicing, I hate memorizing, choreographing, I hate it all. Tomorrow is Monday aka Laguna Beach and i have a fucking rehearsal.

When I'm on that stage on opening night though, it's the best feeling in the world. It's worth all the long hours, missed Laguna Beaches, and wasted Saturdays in the world.

I wish my feelings weren't so hot and cold about it.

I want May 2006 to come so badly. Life will be amazing then and everyday will be filled with friends and fun and senior festivities! There's so much to look forward to and when it's all done, I won't be sad because I'm going to college! COLLEGE. I can't wait to be able to go to sleep at night without my mom coming in to check if I'm wearing my retainers or to walk around all day in my pajamas. I want to be messy and not be yelled at for it. But most of all, I WANT FREEEEDOM.

In other news, I broke Chip's iTrip and now I have to use my birthday money to get a new one. Faggotry.

I complain a lot. Because I'm cool.
